Driving Traffic to Your Limo Website

Posted on Nov 24th 2015 under Marketing Strategy

Successful marketing is all about visibility. The more people see your ads, the more they will click through to look at your limo website. The more people click through, the more will buy. In case you haven’t noticed, most owners start dancing in the street if more than 2 or 3 percent of their site visitors actually book something. That means that 97 out of every 100 people who visit your site are going to walk away without even thinking about booking a ride.

It’s All a Big Numbers Game

This is why traffic to your limousine website is so crucial. It increases your visibility, along with the odds that people are going to click through and eventually book. Think about it: 3 percent of 100 means 3 people. That’s 3 potential new customers. Now consider that 3 percent of 1,000 is 30. If 1000 people per day see your site, that’s a potential for 30 new customers every single day. Depending on how big your company is, that’s either really impressive or just scratching the surface of what you need. If you’re in the latter category, the solution is simple: just build bigger.

3 Ways to Drive Traffic

There are three basic ways that you can get more traffic to your limousine website. We’ll list them in order of importance and effectiveness.

  1. Cost per Click Ads

One of the oldest marketing mantras out there still rings true in the digital age: You have to spend money to make money. This is flat out not going to get done for free. Cost per Click (CPC) ads are a great way to create an initial buzz over your website. You can link directly to the site or to a series of landing pages you want to split test. Either way, it gets people onto the site. Google Adwords, Bing Ads, and Yahoo Gemini are examples of the types of CPC ads that can be very effective for services like yours.

  1. Social Media

Displayed prominently on your website and landing pages should be buttons that link to all of your social media channels. If you keep your social media accounts current and update them often, your content will be liked and shared and create some really good back-end traffic. Facebook in particular is a great source of CPC, and it gives you much more control over your audience than average. Even Google Adwords isn’t as versatile, and that’s saying something.

  1. Good Ol’ SEO

Why is SEO dead last on the list? Because it’s a back-end solution these days, and nowhere near as effective for gaining immediate traffic as the other two. CPC and social media can actually help spur on SEO and accelerate the process of you getting better rankings, but it can take a while-years, even-to make any progress if you rely solely on SEO to drive traffic. Once it kicks in, however, you can get as much, if not more, traffic from SEO than the other two combined, so it’s well worth building and maintaining.
