How to Make the Most of Instagram to Promote your Luxury Limo Services

#1—It’s hip to be square.

 

Since Instagram is all about snapshots and capturing “right now” kinds of moments, you’re not going to be posting professionally retouched images. You’re not going to have the opportunity to fix flaws, etc. This is why the first impression of your photo needs to be the best. We recommend always shooting square images with Instagram. Why? Because square images show up best across social media platforms and across devices. You get the entire picture without having to tap or scroll. Don’t rely on taps or clicks to deliver your “wow.” Impress people with what you put directly in their feeds.

 

#2—Monitor traffic through customized link shorteners.

 

More to the point, use a link shortener that allows tracking. Bit.ly comes quickly to mind. It’s necessary to have this in place because, as powerful as Google is, traffic from your Instagram account is one analytic it just doesn’t track. Unfortunately, when it comes to Instagram you’re on your own, so make sure you have a way of keeping tabs on your traffic!

 

#3—Make good use of your bio link.

 

This is one advantage that most users who are new to Instagram fail to recognize. Be strategic about the link you use in your bio. We recommend that it go directly to a landing page or a specific page on your website that leads to bookings. If people tap it, they’re clearly interested in your service, so don’t make them jump through too many hoops.

 

#4—Research (and use) trending hashtags.

Most people invent them off the cuff because they look or sound cool, but if you’re the only one using them, what good do they do? The idea behind hashtags for your business is increasing exposure. That means you need to use ones that are popular, not necessarily ones you like.
